PRODUCTS & INGREDIENTS
What makes Bath O’Clock products different?
Bath O’Clock products are created with a restrained approach: thoughtful ingredients, considered textures, and scents designed to shape the mood of the ritual without overwhelming it.
We focus on how a product feels on the skin, how it performs in use, and how the experience lingers afterward. Each formula is made in small batches, with no unnecessary decoration added simply for visual effect.
Why are many Bath O’Clock products colourless?
We generally avoid unnecessary dyes and bright artificial colours. The experience comes from the scent, texture, ingredients, and the quiet moment the product creates—not from colouring the water or skin.
Because our products are made in small batches, natural variations in shade may still occur between batches. These differences do not affect the quality or performance of the product.
How do you choose the ingredients in each formula?
Every ingredient must have a clear purpose. We consider its function, skin feel, stability, compatibility with the rest of the formula, and the overall experience it creates.
Oils, butters, clays, salts, botanicals, fragrances, and other ingredients are selected as part of the complete composition rather than added simply because they are fashionable or familiar.
Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils?
We use both, depending on the product and the intended scent experience. Some formulas feature essential oils, while others use fragrance oils when a particular scent profile cannot be achieved consistently with essential oils alone.
Scent is always kept balanced and considered as part of the full formula. Please review the ingredient list on each product page or package before use if you have known sensitivities.
Do your products contain preservatives?
Preservatives are used only where they are needed to help protect the product and keep it stable during normal use.
Formulas containing water generally require an appropriate preservative system, while some water-free products may not. The decision is based on the individual formula rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Are Bath O’Clock products suitable for sensitive skin?
Skin sensitivity is highly individual, so no product can be suitable for everyone. We recommend reviewing the full ingredient list, avoiding any known allergens, and patch-testing a small amount before regular use.
Products containing fragrance or essential oils may not be appropriate for every sensitive skin type. Discontinue use if irritation occurs, and speak with a qualified healthcare professional if you have an existing skin condition or specific concerns
RITUAL & USE
How do I get the best experience from a Bath O’Clock bath bomb?
Fill the tub with comfortably warm water, then place the unwrapped bath bomb into the water and allow it to dissolve fully. Settle in for 20–30 minutes and let the scent and skin-softening oils unfold slowly. After bathing, rinse the tub with warm water and take care when stepping out, as the surface may be slightly slippery.
Can I use a bath bomb or scrub immediately after shaving?
Freshly shaved skin can be more sensitive, so we recommend waiting until the skin feels calm before using a bath bomb or body scrub. Avoid scrubbing freshly shaved, irritated, or broken skin. Those with sensitive skin may prefer to wait until the following day and patch-test the product first.
How should I use the Sugar Scrub and Body Butter?
Massage a small amount of Sugar Scrub onto damp skin using gentle circular motions, then rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice a week, depending on your skin’s needs, and avoid freshly shaved or irritated areas.
After bathing, apply a small amount of Body Butter to slightly damp skin. Begin with less than you think you need and add more gradually, allowing the warmth of the skin to soften and absorb the butter.
How should I use the Shampoo and Conditioner Bars?
Wet the hair and Shampoo Bar thoroughly. Create a lather between the hands or glide the bar gently over the scalp, then massage and rinse well.
Apply the Conditioner Bar to wet hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Leave it on briefly before rinsing thoroughly. Conditioner Bars are not designed to lather.
Allow both bars to dry completely between uses on a well-draining soap dish.
Why can hair feel different when first switching to a Shampoo Bar?
Hair may need time to adjust to a different cleansing formula. Using too much product, not rinsing thoroughly, existing product buildup, or hard water can also leave hair feeling heavy or waxy.
Use a small amount, concentrate the lather on the scalp, and rinse carefully. Allow the bar to dry fully between uses. If the feeling continues, an occasional clarifying wash may help remove mineral or styling-product buildup.
How should Bath O’Clock products be stored, and how long do they last?
Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excess heat, and standing water. Bars should be placed on a draining dish and allowed to dry completely. Keep jars tightly closed and avoid introducing water into the product.
Shelf life varies by formula, so always follow the best-before date or period-after-opening information shown on the packaging. Changes in scent, colour, texture, or appearance may indicate that the product should no longer be used.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
How long will my order take to process and arrive?
Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within 1–2 business days. During holidays, launches, or other busy periods, processing may take 3–4 business days.
Delivery time begins after the order has left our studio and varies according to the destination and shipping service selected at checkout.
Do you offer free or expedited shipping?
Complimentary standard shipping is available on eligible Canadian orders over $100 and is applied automatically at checkout.
Expedited options may also be available at checkout. Estimated transit times are measured in business days and begin after the order has been processed and dispatched.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping is available to supported destinations shown at checkout. Delivery times vary and may be affected by the destination country’s customs process.
Any applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, or customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the order total.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Yes. Add your message in the order-notes field during checkout, and we will include it with the package. Pricing information is not included inside the parcel.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Yes, P.O. box delivery may be available through standard postal services. Some private couriers cannot deliver to P.O. boxes, so the available options may differ at checkout.

What happens if a package is delayed, refused, or returned to sender?
Carrier delays caused by weather, service interruptions, customs processing, or seasonal volume may be outside our control.
When a parcel is returned because it was refused, unclaimed, or addressed incorrectly, any refund will be assessed after it arrives back at our studio. Original shipping charges and carrier return fees may be deducted where permitted.
ORDERS & PAYMENT
What forms of payment are accepted?
Bath O’Clock accepts the payment methods displayed at checkout, including major credit and debit cards and any available express-payment options.
Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be confirmed.
Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible after placing the order. We will make every reasonable effort to help, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once preparation or dispatch has begun.
Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled or modified.
I didn’t receive an order confirmation. What should I do?
Order confirmations are sent automatically after checkout. Please check your spam or junk folder and confirm that the email address entered during checkout was correct.
If the confirmation still cannot be found, contact us with the name and email address used for the order.
Can I use multiple discount codes on one order?
Only one discount code may normally be applied to each order unless a specific promotion states otherwise.
Discount codes cannot be combined with other codes or offers unless expressly permitted.
I forgot to apply my discount code. Can it be added afterward?
Discount codes must be entered before the order is completed and generally cannot be applied retroactively.
The code may still be used on a future eligible order, provided it has not expired and its conditions are met.
What currency and taxes apply to my order?
All prices are displayed and charged in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Applicable sales taxes are calculated according to the delivery destination and shown before the order is submitted. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion or international transaction fees.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
What is Bath O’Clock’s 30-day return policy?
Return requests may be submitted within 30 days after an order is delivered. Products must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in our Refund and Return Policy.
This policy does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
How do I request a return?
Submit a request through our Connect With Us page or email support@bathoclock.ca with:

The product you wish to return
The reason for the return
Photos if the product arrived damaged or incorrect
Please wait for return authorization before sending anything back.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
Once reviewed, we will help arrange an appropriate replacement, refund, or other resolution. Do not discard the product or packaging until the request has been reviewed.
Are any items non-refundable?
Gift cards, sample or miniature products, and items identified as Final Sale or Clearance are generally not eligible for return unless they arrive defective or applicable law requires otherwise.

How long does it take to receive a refund?
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for processing. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.
Can individual items from a set or bundle be returned?
Products purchased as part of a set or bundle must be returned together as a complete set. Individual items from a set are not eligible for separate return unless they arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
